18.3.09
Last year Terry Lee Brown Junior aka Norman Feller convinced the dancefloors and the music press with his 5th studio album “Softpack” and the singles “Chatterbox”, “Pulsar”, “Wait” (featuring Robert Manos), “Softpack – The Edit” and “Delightful Encounter”. This year he started with a remix package on vinyl of the album-tracks “Soul Digits” and “Pulsar”, where he engaged Alex Flatner from Circle Music, Cooccer from Shayan Music and Harold Heath (amongst others releasing on Urbantorque). This year he started with a remix package on vinyl of the album-track “Soul Digits” and “Pulsar”, where he engaged Alex Flatner from Circle Music, Cooccer from Shayan Music and Harold Heath (amongst others releasing on Urbantorque).
But Terry is famous for his own remixes, too. His interpretations of Cooccer’s “Sunshine”, Budai & Vic’s “Luv U” and “Rollerbar”, Timewriter’s “Soul Freak Music” and Robert Manos’ “Nobody” found their places in the playlists in 2008 as easy as the remix of William Besson’s “Come Around” shows it at the moment. With his new remix-compilation “Selected Remixes 3” he allows us to get an detailed and summarizing view of his latest remix-work. With his interpretations of tracks from Cooccer, MoBeatz, Roddy, Eartone, üNN, Jeff Bennett, Kalliope, Robert Manos, Gui Boratto, Forteba, The Timewriter, Those Norwegians and Blu Mar Ten he presents his facilities of handling with the artistic intentions of other artists, not forgetting to add his very own handwriting to the previously thought constructions and felt emotions. With this work overview Plastic City is ready for spring, presenting warm atmospheres, phantasmagoric arrangements, adorable vocals, uplifting rhythms and intelligent chords and melodies.
