The Ultrasonics - Ultrasound (2009)

Summer 2007. Three producers with a love of all things electro meet singer Hannah Sanders and The Ultrasonics is born. Together they have a vision: inspired by the classic synthpop sounds from the 80s, The 'sonics set out to create a new sound mixing retro electropop with a fresh, modern twist.
With no time to waste, the band begin writing and producing material for their first album; a fusion of warm synths, electro basslines and big killer hooks.

Fast forward a few months. The Ultrasonics start performing across the UK at a spectrum of venues: from some of London's key electro hangouts, to headlining in front of thousands on the main stage at Pride (alongside the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Alphabeat, Roisin Murphy and Client).

Summer 2008. After an overwhelming reaction to their tracks at the shows and in the blog-circuit, The Ultrasonics put out a "buzz" single - Perfect Girl - as a teaser of what's to come.

Finally... the band have unleashed their much anticipated debut album - Ultrasound - released April 27th '09.
