Hess Is More - Hits (2009)

HESSTORY
Hess Is More presents the work of danish musician Mikkel Hess. All original music composed and produced by Mikkel Hess.

MH graduated from The Rhytmic Conservatory in the summer '02 with drums as his main instrument after studying with a.o. the legendary Ed Thigpen.

In 2005 Hess Is More signed a deal for international album releases with Copenhagen based label Music For Dreams, founded and lead by Kenneth Bager.

Throughout the years MH has made collaborations within film, theater, fine arts and other media.

As a drummer and co-producer, MH can be heard on: "Multi Faith Prayer Room" (Collaboration with Kresten Osgood & Tal R), "You should not do this if you are in a hurry" (with a.o. Jazzpar prize winner Chris Potter) + a list of albums including: Luke, Caroline Henderson, Hans Ulrik & Listen Up.

Hess is working out of new studio facilities on 628 Broadway, NYC, with designer Jacob Wildschiødtz and music producer Rasmus Bille Bahncke.
