It might have always been his intention, but is it just us or is Carl Craig sounding more and more European with each new release? His Europhilic tendencies have never been a secret, but he always managed to balance them out with a typically Detroit centric feel and directness that seems to be ebbing away with his recent productions. This remix of UNKLE's 'Trouble In Paradise' is a hugely effective big room cut, taking soaring strings fromt he original and reshaping them around a pumping tech house rhythm with sub-driven kicklumps and a universal appeal. On the flipside James Lavalle enlists Berlin congnoscenti the Innervisions Orchestra, comprising of Ame, Henrik Schwarz and Dixon to provide an ultra refined and ambient dub mix of 'Hold My Hand' with predictably high quality results. Comes pressed on white label with hand stamped sleeves. Won't last long!
